(Jan. 12, 2016)– In addition to the traditional hot pastrami sandwiches d’Bronx offers daily, the New York-style deli will feature two special pastrami sandwiches, the Rachel and Rob’s Big Deal, at all four locations starting on National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day on January 14 and will continue to serve them through Sunday, January 17.

d’Bronx premium pastrami is brined, coated with dry rub, smoked and then steamed at d’Bronx for two more hours in-house to ensure tenderness. d’Bronx sells nearly 5,000 lbs. of pastrami a year, rivaling most sandwich shops in the area.  d’Bronx makes every pastrami sandwich with Sy Ginsberg’s Gold Label pastrami from United Meat & Deli in Ann Arbor, Michigan, founded in 1982 by Sy Ginsberg. United Meat & Deli also provides its premium meats to famous Zingerman’s Deli.

THE RACHEL:  The Rachel is a variation on the Rueben.  It’s a grilled sandwich made with hot pastrami, creamy coleslaw, imported Swiss and housemade Russian dressing on New York-style Rye.

ROB’S BIG DEAL: Rob’s Big deal includes hot pastrami, melted imported Swiss, coleslaw and housemade chipotle honey mustard on an onion poppy seed roll.

In addition to the Rachel and Rob’s Big Deal, d’Bronx will serve its regular pastrami offerings including the Hot Pastrami with Swiss sub sandwich and the traditional deli-style Hot Pastrami on Rye.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 8, 2015)– After the limited one-day preview of two styles of Nathan’s hot dogs during d’Bronx’s 25^th anniversary celebration in mid-November, d’Bronx is now officially launching all five styles of “Griddled Crisp” all-beef hot dogs in all four locations on Dec. 10. The addition of the hot dogs expands the restaurant’s New York-style menu with a new taste of New York.

d’Bronx is also partnering with Kansas City’s Farm to Market Bread Co. to serve the hot dogs on fresh baked and toasted split-top egg buns. Each all-beef hot dog is cooked fresh-to-order on the d’Bronx flat-top griddle.

The “Griddled Crisp” hot dog line-up includes:

• Classic Dog– Plain dog with choice of sauerkraut, relish, onions, ketchup and mustard
• NYC Dog– Spicy tomato onion sauce, spicy brown mustard
• Coney Island Chili Dog– Chili, spicy brown mustard, minced onion
• Slaw Dog– Chili, creamy cole slaw, yellow mustard, minced onion
• Reuben Dog– Sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing

Nathan’s Famous is a nearly 100-year-old hot dog company based in New York and recognized worldwide for its taste and high quality. Nathan’s Famous started out at a small hot dog stand on Coney Island in New York in 1916 and grew to encompass the entire United States shortly after with the help of legends like Al Capone and Cary Grant. KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Nov. 24, 2015)–  d’Bronx will usher in the holiday season with the launch of its seasonal mini pound cakes on Tuesday, Dec. 1 at all four locations. The restaurant’s in-house pastry chef has created three seasonal mini pound cake flavors including original, cranberry and almond. The eight ounce pound cakes are baked fresh daily, so availability will vary. Pound cakes will only be offered during the holiday season.
